Who’s the Racist?

I’m sorry, there will be no humor in this post.  I’m just too dumbfounded by what I am seeing on T.V. to be funny.  All these media outlets need to stop lending so much credence to hypocritical words.  Why are they giving so much air time to these crazy, right wing, fanatics, who are calling Obama’s Supreme Court nominee a racist?  The Republican party should never mention the word racist.  Doing so only opens the flood gates for fair minded individuals to go back and look at these peoples’ own past racist comments and actions.  Does the name Strom Thurmand ring a bell?  Anybody remember Tom Delay’s redistricting strategy?  Look em up.  Certain members of the Republican power have been engaging in racist activities for years.  Rush Limbaugh, the apparent right wing mouth piece, was the first to come out and say it.  In all fairness, if anyone should be able to spot a racist it is Rush, who said the following “ I mean, let’s face it, we didn’t have slavery in this country for over 100 years because it was a bad thing. Quite the opposite: slavery built the South. I’m not saying we should bring it back; I’m just saying it had its merits. For one thing, the streets were safer after dark.”   Now that is racist comment.  What a piece of shit, huh?  Hypocrisy at this level should be dealt with harshly.  Reviresco made a good point.  Maybe we, the American people, should force Rush to step into a ring with Donovan McNabb.  McNabb would gut him like a pig, if he didn’t vomit due to the pressure first like he did in the Super Bowl.  Go Patriots!!
